Geneva Sun, a paper in suburban Chicago, reported that Adam Lambert and Kris Allen were singled out by David Cook as his favorites this year. He apparently “sneaked” into Joliet last Monday and gave a surprise show to University of Saint Francis students, staff and administrators at the Moser Performing Arts Center auditorium.

David Cook “came home” to American Idol earlier this month and has said he has been watching the show and thinks all of the remaining contestants “still got something in the tank.” He singled out singers Kris Allen and Adam Lambert as two that stand out to him. The latter has been compared to David Cook several times as both is high on creativity.
